Learning outcome

To provide the student with fundamental knowledge about project evaluation and in particular investment decisions within the institutional environments of health enterprises. The course also provides the student with knowledge of financial considerations related to investment decisions in health care organizations.

Formal prerequisite knowledge

Teaching

Lectures. There will also be practical examples and exercises in terms of cases.

Examination

Four hour written examination.

Examination support material

No examination support material is allowed.

Language of examination

All written exams and term papers at the master's programme in Health Economics, Policy and Management have to be conducted in English.

Grading scale

Grades are awarded on a scale from A to F, where A is the best grade and F is a fail. Read more about the grading system.

Withdrawal from an examination

It is possible to take the exam up to 3 times. If you withdraw from the exam after the deadline or during the exam, this will be counted as an examination attempt.

The course is subject to continuous evaluation. At regular intervals we also ask students to participate in a more comprehensive evaluation.
